What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel? And why should every marketer use one?

It's a strategy for marketing designed to attract potential customers to your site. It is a selling process by which a person comes to your blog seeking information that could aid in solving a specific issue. You can build a relationship by using specific tools.

This will allow you to understand the needs and wants of every visitor. This will allow you to offer the best information possible for all visitors. The visitor is more comfortable purchasing your products if you have gained their confidence. The customer becomes the visitor.

Many customers end up becoming extremely loyal customers and will buy almost any product that your site sells. A marketing funnel is comprised of the different steps of the sales process it takes to transform a regular website visitor to an extremely loyal customer who is willing to purchase everything you can throw at them.

For any internet marketer, this is the final objective. It is achievable by using a funnel that is well-designed.

Your marketing efforts are capturing the attention of people, and bringing them into your funnel. When they complete the PERSONAL form, they will be automatically enrolled in into the funnel. Because no one will sign up to your business lead capture page, I used the word "personal". They are looking to become as a leader and not a company.

The lead capture page is where they enter the funnel. When they click the "Sign up now" or "Enter here" buttons, they are able to access a whole different universe of marketing through networks.

It's their decision. It's their decision. They have nothing to sell you except yourself as a leader and mentor, and as someone who can help them get more leads into their business.

This is how a standard funnel functions.

The "front-end" The "front-end" is where you create a free offer that will attract and qualify prospective customers who may be interested in purchasing your products further in the sales funnel. You will need to register to receive the product (also known as opt-in) and then enter your email address as well as name. Then, they will be added to your email mailing list.

Now that you have the contacts in your account, you can send related offers to them.

After signing up for the free offer they will be taken to a webpage with a low price offer, also called trip wire offers. This is where they move into the "back-end of the funnel."

If they purchase the bargain price offer, they'll be taken to another related offer with a higher cost (normally known as an upsell). A person who also buys the cheaper offer will be directed to the next similar product at an even higher rate. This could go on for a long period of time.
