Apr 26

Since the beginning of time, sales funnels have been a part of traditional marketing and business. I've observed that funnels designed for Internet business are becoming increasingly well-known.

The truth of the matter is that folks are eager to learn more about this marketing concept and how they can apply it in their online business marketing efforts. If you would like to learn more about sales funnels for effective Internet marketing I invite you to continue reading.

The Sales Funnel: What is it?

A marketing funnel isn't an actual funnel. For this marketing concept using the term funnel is to visual and describe the sales process from the beginning to its conclusion. Since it has a broad opening for customers who are "Unqualified prospects" at the top and a much narrower opening for converted sales in the middle, the term funnel is an accurate comparison.

The people who are "unqualified prospects" will be found at the upper end of the funnel. This is people who have never spoken to you but may be interested in your product or services. You'll have many offers and sales activities later and you'll have people who have purchased your product or service.

Another reason why the idea of the lead generation funnel works is that it makes it possible to track your prospects' actions throughout the expanded sales process. With the sales funnel through figuring out the quantity of prospects who are qualified throughout the process, it's possible to anticipate the number of potential customers that will, after a while, become actual customers.

A sales funnel will aid you in determining where your sales process fails or succeeds or if your marketing campaign is not getting enough customers. This information will allow you to decide where to focus your efforts and help you reach your goals in marketing. It can be used to monitor and evaluate the sales process of your customers.

The Sales Funnel Top, Front or End

The most important part of your sales funnel will require continuous testing and will be the most active. There are virtually no limits to your creativity or resources when it comes to front-end strategies.

The primary goal of the front-end is to attract prospective customers and turn these buyers into buyers through the sales funnel.

If a potential customer decides to sign up or purchases something you offer, they are "qualified". This is the point in the sales funnel that the potential customer or "Unqualified Prospect" is a qualified lead due to an action that actually demonstrates that may have enough interest to purchase your product or service.

You must create targeted traffic to your blog, website or squeeze page for your front-end to work. The most efficient methods and resources for doing this include articles marketing, PPC adverts, social media (Google+, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube), banners and blogging, forum posting, content marketing and more.

There are many methods to "qualify" one of them,"qualify" the "Unqualified prospect". The most efficient is the squeeze page. Here you can offer something of value that is connected to your service or product that they can obtain for free or at a drastically discounted price in exchange for their email. The items offered range from newsletters, video, ebooks, e-mail courses, related reports and more.

The front end of your sales funnel is where potential customers are attracted to you. The back-end is what we should be focusing on.

The Bottom of The Funnel: The Back-End

The bottom, or back end, of the funnel is where the majority of sales and profits occur. It is also where you'll find your more expensive products. They all belong to the same subject however in a different format like audio, video or live interaction.

The main difference between front and back-ends is in the type of client as well as the cost of the service or product being offered.

Even though it is true that a very small percentage of people will enter your front -end however, just 1-2% of them will be able to make it into your back-end. This is due to a small few will invest a greater amount of funds.

Products and services that are front-end may be priced at less than $100 but back-end products, services, and services typically run between 100 and 1000 dollars. This implies that the lowest end of the sales channel which is also called the back-end is the primary source of revenue.

The sales funnel can be as simple or complex as you want to make it, as long you have the proper resources and the right ideas.
